In today’s scenario, the internet plays an imperative role as most of the organisation are using internet to sell their products in thecompetitive market. With the use of internet companies are managing their business operations by proactively analysing, identifying, anticipating customer expectations. In order to globalise the products, most of the companies are using internet marketing which is defined as “marketing of products in which search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, and banner advertising is used”. In addition to this internet marketing is comprised of various marketing components which involve display advertising, email marketing, interactive advertising, social media optimization, and affiliate marketing. there are various organisations which are conducting research to analyse the important aspects of internet-based marketing. In the report, three major internet-based services that involve e-mail marketing, web-based marketing, and peer-to-peer services are evaluated. Various positive and negative aspects of the internet in the organisation and society would be analysed in the report.
